Tax Credit for Solar | Federal tax credit for solar

The federal government offers a 30% tax credit for solar which will be available through 2016. This tax credit also covers solar thermal, wind, fuel cells, geothermal heat pumps and other solar electric technologies. Excess credit can be carried over to a second year. The tax credit is scheduled to be in effect through to 2016.
